we had a lovely stay at brae-mar b&b! the location was fantastic, central to all the places we wanted to explore. our host, brian, was super accommodating and even provided laundry facilities, we got our clothes dried in the irish sun! breakfast was great too, making it a cozy, homey experience.
the only mild critique is the Wi-Fi connection could be improved.

Enjoyed a spacious family room with enough space for everyone, allowing for a relaxing stay. Breakfast offered a good selection, including a solid Ulster Fry that got our day off to a great start. The location couldn't be better, just a short walk from town with a Lidl right across the street.
A few minor inconveniences popped up during our stay. We could have used more hangers to keep our coats organized and shelves in the bathroom to store essentials. that space felt underutilized. The room cleanliness left a bit to be desired, with dust on surfaces and some older fixtures needing attention, which made it hard to feel like everything was truly clean.

Perfect for our family getaway!
We had a lovely stay! The location was super handy—just a stroll away from the beach. The owner was super kind, even sent back my son’s lost stuffed toy. Our doggos felt right at home too because it’s pet-friendly. The only thing was the picnic area could use some more shade. Would come back for sure!

Spacious family room providing adequate space for two adults and two children, allowing for some room to breathe during the stay. The overall decor has potential, with unique touches that give it a cozy feel.
The room lacked sufficient hangers for coats and shelves in the bathroom, which might leave things cluttered. A persistent odor lingered throughout the building, making relaxation a challenge, and the bathroom setup felt outdated. The mattresses were noticeably uncomfortable, with springs felt clearly beneath the surface, which made quality sleep elusive for the family. Maintenance appears to be an afterthought, as certain areas lacked attention, potentially dampening spirits during the stay.

I had a lovely stay at Brae-Mar B&B. The owner, Brian, made me feel right at home. Cozy atmosphere with a clean and tidy room. The breakfast every morning was fantastic and provided a great start to the day. The location was spot on, with easy access to nearby attractions and a supermarket right across the road. It was convenient for stocking up on snacks for the day. One downside was the Wi-Fi connection. it could use some improvement. I found the room a bit small for my liking, and the bathroom layout was a bit awkward. Definitely thinking of returning for another stay.

What I loved most was the personal touch at breakfast with a cooked-to-order meal! The room was comfy, but a little dated. Wish there were more hangers in the bathroom. a great stay! 😊

we had a great stay at brae-mar b&b! super comfy double room, nice and clean. breakfast was really yummy and the host, brian, was very helpful, giving us tips on where to go. it’s in a great spot, close to everything in portrush. we even got to do laundry with a clothesline, which was awsome!
only thing was that the pillows could use an upgrade and the room was a bit dated.

Family with children will love it
So, we stayed a few days, and let me tell you Brian, the owner, was an absolute gem. He cooked breakfast for us every morning, which really hit the spot after our late nights. The room was cozy, perfect for settling in after a busy day, and it had this nice warmth that made it feel like home. Oh, and there's a Lidl right across the street, making it super easy to stock up for our adventures every day, you know, like a family should.
It wasn't particularly low-priced, but given the services and comfort, it felt alright.
